The Legend of Cardo’s Steakhouse
The early 1800’s witnessed the arrival of Espero Cardo and his herd of some of the world’s finest beef cattle to Fiji. Originally bound for Australia, this shipment of prized animals from the pampas of Argentina was pirated in the Koro Sea by war canoeists of the Tavuteke Clan. The services of stockman Cardo were necessary and so his life and cattle were spared.
The Fijian grasslands proved ideally nutritional for raising the perfect beef beast. Now, four generations later, the perfect steak is available in Fiji’s best little steakhouse of the pacific. Find us in Port Denarau Marina, Nadi.

My hubby & I just had dinner at Cardo’s & it was awesome! We had a couple of well made gin & tonics, some delish crumbed squid rings that weren’t greasy & a couple of steaks (t-bone for hubby & sirloin for me) served with fries went down a treat! Totally recommend it & we will definitely be back again. Reasonably priced & great friendly service. Thank u
Cardos has a great variety of local fresh seafood, snittys, lamb and the best steak in Fiji. A family friendly atmosphere that gets rocking after dinner. Great place for a drink or cocktail and the staff are awesome.
Cardo’s is an amazing place, the steaks are top notch, the staff are friendly and on the ball (No Fiji time) when it comes to service. Cardo is always in amongst the customers having a great time with everyone.
